To celebrate the second anniversary of the programme “Sustainable Living for the Health of People and Nature,” we held the “Sustainable Living Festival” at the Central Market last month! The Festival has now been successfully concluded. Thank you all for your participation!
The project has successfully promoted a sustainable low-carbon lifestyle to the public and enterprises in the past two years by focusing on four essential aspects of daily life – clothing, eating, living, and commuting. 🌎 This “Sustainable Living Festival” has escalated the project’s impact. 👏🏻
During this two-day event, we invited Ying – an ecoliving influencer, #MILL6CHAT CHAT, Green Ladies, TenRen’s Tea and students from Division of Transdisciplinary Undergraduate Programme of Hong Kong Baptist University #HKBU to set up booths and exhibitions to share with everyone the selection and matching of clothing and materials, textile cultural heritage, bring-your-own, healthy eating lifestyle, explore green communities and other low-carbon living tips! 💚
Thousands of public were attracted to be part of the Festival, and also gave away drinks to about 1,000 participants who brought their own cups as a reward.
Last but not least, a big hand to our committed and passionate volunteers ensuring the success of the festival!
Hope to see you all again next time! 👋🏼and hope everyone can continue or start a sustainable lifestyle after the event! Don’t hesitate to share your tips on low-carbon living with your family and friends as well. Let’s “live well” together! 👯
